Essentially, the Glycemic Diet balances unrefined complex carbohydrates, such as whole grains and wheat, with lean protein and healthy fats, in order to stabilize blood sugar levels, which increases energy and decreases mood swings and sugar cravings. While no foods groups are specifically excluded in this plan, individuals receive 40% of their calories from low Glycemic Impact carbohydrates, 30% from lean proteins, and 30% from healthy fats.
Examples of low Glycemic Impact carbohydrates include green beans, peanuts, pearled barley, carrots and spaghetti.
Diet Plan Pricing
All of eDiets' online weight loss plans are $17.96/monthly. If customers cancel before three months have passed from their sign up date, they will incur a $25.00 fee. Teenagers between the ages of 13 and 18 who wish to sign up first need parental permission.
